  • All 12 months: one PDF, one month per A4 page, ready to print as a set.
  • Year planner: the whole of 2027 on one A4 page, with a list of the bank holidays.
  • Just one month: pick it from the pictures below.

What's on each page

  • Weeks start on Monday, as most UK calendars do, with Saturday and Sunday shaded.
  • Three writing lines under every date for appointments, birthdays and reminders.
  • Bank holidays for England and Wales, picked out in colour.
  • The last days of the month before and the first days of the month after, in grey, so the weeks are complete.
  • A notes box at the bottom, with small calendars for the previous and next month beside it.
  • Each month has its own colour, so they're easy to tell apart on a wall or in a folder.

UK bank holidays in 2027

These are the dates marked on the calendar. They're the bank holidays for England and Wales, taken from GOV.UK.

DateBank holiday
Friday 1 JanuaryNew Year's Day
Friday 26 MarchBank holiday
Monday 29 MarchBank holiday
Monday 3 MayEarly May bank holiday
Monday 31 MaySpring bank holiday
Monday 30 AugustSummer bank holiday
Monday 27 DecemberBank holiday (substitute day)
Tuesday 28 DecemberBank holiday (substitute day)
Two December bank holidays move in 2027. 25 and 26 December fall on a Saturday and Sunday, so the bank holidays are on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 December instead.

Scotland also has Monday 4 January (2nd January substitute day) and Tuesday 30 November (St Andrew's Day). Its summer bank holiday is Monday 2 August, not 30 August, and Monday 29 March isn't a bank holiday there.

Northern Ireland has the England and Wales dates plus Wednesday 17 March (St Patrick's Day) and Monday 12 July (Battle of the Boyne).

How to print it

  1. Open the PDF and choose Print (Ctrl + P).
  2. Set the paper to A4 and the layout to Portrait.
  3. Set the size to Actual size or 100%. "Fit to page" works too and is the one to pick on US Letter paper.
  4. Make sure background graphics or colours are switched on if your printer settings offer it, or the coloured bands will print white.
Saving ink? Print in greyscale. The dates, lines and bank holidays all stay readable without colour.

Yes. The PDFs are free to download, print and share for personal, school or office use. There's no sign-up and no email address needed.

Can I edit the calendar before I print it?

The PDFs are made for printing and writing on by hand. To type into a calendar before printing, make one with the calendar template in EdgeNote, which you can try free for 15 days.

Is there a version where the week starts on Sunday?

These PDFs start on Monday, the usual UK layout. EdgeNote's calendar template lets you choose a Sunday start.
